Different

These days it seems as if, as a society, we tend to focus more on what differences we have with one another, rather than focusing on what similarities we share. And many times, those who are looked upon as being “different” are regularly marginalized and treated unfairly. We must understand that the differences we have with others doesn’t overshadow the fact that these people are still our brothers and our sisters. It takes very little effort on our part when it comes to reaching out to help someone who is ostracized — or someone who feels lost. We must learn how to give a little of our time in order to help, as it’s our duty as brothers and sisters of Christ.
