Eternal Life
Jesus asked, “Do you believe in me? Do you believe in what I say?” Tragedies and upsetting occurrences are part of what makes us human. But what do we do when things go wrong? When things don’t go our way, and when things are challenging, how do we believe? How do we continue to have faith? Placing our trust in God reminds us that there is a tomorrow. The difficult times are not the end. The end is what Jesus promised everyone — life everlasting.
What if God's plan isn't a perfect blueprint, but a relationship that continues even when we fail? Father Gene reflects on a God who doesn't abandon us when we fall short, but continually invites us forward with faith, hope, and love.
